Dwayne Douglas

Dwayne Douglas Johnson, also known by the name of The Rock, was born on the 2nd of May 1972 in Hayward, California. Ata Johnson (born FeagaimaleataFITISeMANU Maivia) along with Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Bowles) are his parents. His father, from Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada and is his race, black (of Black Nova Scotian descent) His mother is from a Samoan background (her parents were Peter Fanene Maivia, also an experienced wrestler). While growing up, Dwayne traveled around a lot with his parents and observed his father in the wrestling ring. Dwayne started playing football in high school. He soon earned an athletic scholarship at University of Miami. University of Miami and had tremendous success as a player. Dwayne sustained a back injury during 1995 that ended his spot within the NFL.
